Financial Stories
It has been another great week of reading here in the personal finance blogosphere. Take a few minutes to check out these posts. They are some of my favorites of the week.
Christian Common Sense has written about NETFLIX and the financial advantages of using it over cable or satellite. I would consider it, except for watching The Masters golf tourney, and my other sports stuff. I watch it less and less, but am not sure I could completely do without!!!!
The Saved Quarter has written about efforts to cut their cell bill. Worthy of your time to review. I did a review of BillShrink, the service he used to help cut his plan, that you can find here. Great place to visit and run your numbers.
For a story about co-signing loans or loaning money to others, check out this post from Bible Debt.
And while we are on that subject, check out Couple Money’s thoughts on the matter!
And don’t read this post, about making homemade pizza, if you are hungry, courtesy of Eliminate the Muda.
And finally this from Free Money Finance, a post about how buying a new car is sometimes not as evil as I have discussed here. For my take on new cars, check out this rant from the past!
Have a great weekend! The weather is fine, here in the south.

I loved the pizza post and I feel inspired to get back to making pizza…. I also really want to hear about your wife’s homemade masterpiece pizza.
When I write the story, I will let you know. It is good stuff, but I think the grilled flavor on the crust will push it over the top!
Tell me she cooks it on the grill! I’ve been dying to try this but it has not been in the cards yet.
Thanks for the mention!
Thanks so much for featuring me! I found BillShrink very helpful as well.
Also, I’m a she!
My mom is a nurse and could use a little motivation toward millionaire status; I’ll be passing your link on to her!
Thanks for dropping by, I will try to get it right next time…..
Let your mom know to say, hey!
Thanks for the mention. I am with you on the Netflix, love the idea but I have hard time giving up the sports.
