Goals and More Goals
I thought I would do a Yakezie Roundup on Goal Setting for the New Year, with I hope, stinging commentary…Well, maybe not stinging, more like supportive. Well, maybe not supportive, how bout just a little commentary.
I think it helps us formulate our own goals and plans when we see what others have done-how they go about their thinking and how they prioritize their own life.
Things have been so crazy for me recently:
- Death in the family
- Sister-in-law with a broken leg has joined the household in a wheel chair for a couple months
- Son’s wedding
- Sinus infection from Hell! (and since my Monistat samples haven’t worked, maybe I ought to see a real Doc!)
- Christmas
- My nurses personal finance course “The 5-A’s to Financial Health” launching right before Thanksgiving-(not too smart in retrospect….)
Soooo, I haven’t had time to do my own goal setting, so that will come soon!

Budgeting in The Fun Stuff, Crystal writes her goals in “S” fashion. My readers will probably use another “S” word for my post when I get around to it…

Buy Like Buffett- Mark hasn’t done a goal post, but I always love to learn about investing geniuses since I would love to be one-so I let this slide!!!

Khaleef at Faithful With a Few, doesn’t do Resolutions-but did this New Year’s Round-up!
Free From Broke has suggestions for making goals come true in this first of a series of posts. They are good!
Alan at Canadian Finance Blog reviews 2010 goals and sets new ones for this year. Accountability!
Kay Lynn at Bucksome Boomer is going on an Alaskan Cruise, (paid for of course) as part of her goals. I am not sure cruising and weight loss are compatible, but good luck!
My Journey To Millions-Evan has his goals going. He has a lot on his plate…Focused Fatherhood being #1.

Hey Doc: Since this is a site for nurses…. I was just wonderin’: Why would you NOT go see an Advanced Nurse Practice nurse? A good NP would have you fixed up in a jiffy. Surely you believe us qualified? Don’t you? Just askin’.
My former ANP was great. She worked with me for 15 years…I now have a PA associate who also helps me out.
I am a big supporter of both!
