Hurricane Sandy
Short report from Dean
Cil and I have spent the last two weeks working with many of the finest nurses and human beings on the planet.
The outpouring of support from several state nursing organizations has been unbelievable.
The people who have helped us whose own homes have been flooded and are un-inhabitable are amazing.
When I can do them justice, I will write more, but for now, all I’m able to say is how privileged I am to know them.
I’m writing on my iPhone so will keep it short.
Thanks for all your words of support and your prayers.
Dean and Cil

Sandy looked absolutely horrific from this side of the pond. We had been in Switzerland for a long weekend with some odd weather – siberian on the Sunday. We have been in touch with friends in NY who are OK but it looked very scary. Our hearts go out to you!
It was truly a pleasure to be a part of the team you and your wife Thea assembled so quickly and under such stressful situations.
I became very attached to the Storm Services “family” and plan on keeping in touch with many new friends.
Caring for the hundreds of out of state utility workers was a wonderful experience and I will never forget many of their stories and dedication to their work.
Thank you for helping us get back on our feet after such enormous devastation.
